The journey to motherhood comes with many perks and also surprises. Pregnancy brings the joy of strong nails and thick quick-growing hair. Then comes a time postpartum that thick pregnancy mane starts to become lifeless and thin. Overtime I brushed my hair I would lose enough to create my own brand of hair extensions.  My hairbrush would end up with more hair than that was on my head! This happened with both of my postpartum experiences, it became so bad I started to resemble a Simpsons character; Mr Burns to be exact.

I have used Klorane products before such as the dry shampoo (every mother’s lifesaver), so when they contacted me to try out their Quinine Strengthing and Fortifying range I jumped at the chance.

I began to use the Klorane Quinine Strengthing & Fortifying Shampoo, Conditioner followed by the new Keratin Strength Fortifying Spray.  For best results the spray is recommended to use for a minimum of 3 months but after 1 month of use I started noticing results.

I noticed a dramatic change in the thickness of my hair especially around my temples (my problem areas for postpartum hair thinning). It also felt stronger and much cleaner without any heavy residue (as the range is silicone free). What I also love about the Keratin Strength spray is the combination of botanic ingredients:

  • Quinine, which is known for its revitalizing properties
  • B Vitamins which provide essential nutrients
  • Plant-based Keratin with amino acids similar to those in found in the hair to strengthen from root to tip
  • Caffeine to boost your hair

Less and less hair would end up on my brush, I am starting to see my hair to grow back and look healthier than it did before! I also found my hair felt super fresh and was much easier to brush and detangle thanks to the fortifying spray!

The products I use are;

  • Klorane Strengthening & Revitalizing Shampoo
  • Klorane Strengthening & Revitalizing Conditioner
  • Klorane Strength Fortifying Spray
