Once having a baby it’s hard to imagine your life without them but how would you describe your life before you had Cruz?
Crazy busy! I used to get up and train before work and then go train after work. I worked full time too. Plus had a causal job at a boutique. I couldn’t sit still. I always had plans every weekend to either go have a workout or walk and breakie with friends. I loved getting out and about.
Becoming a mummy totally changes your life. How has becoming a mother changed you?
Being a mumma has changed be I think for the better, I have more respect for my body, I love so much harder, I actually take a break and look after me more. I do think you worry more though hahaha!
Have you always had an active and healthy lifestyle?
Since I was my mid 20’s I have enjoyed training hard, eating healthy and practicing mindfulness. Before that I was 20kg heavier, binged eat, skipped meals and partied like a rockstar. I LOVE my new lifestyle!
To help all the ladies out there, how do you keep motivated?
I surround myself with inspiring people who motivate me. I have a vision board on my wall that reminds me of a happier, healthier version of myself. I created Alice In Healthyland to do exactly that, to support others and be supported by other like minded inspired individuals. I also love reading motivational quotes on the daily!
Your blog and Instagram have become so successful. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I would love to continue sharing my story, inspiring others to do the same. Preaching health, wellness, gratefulness and self love. I would love to finish my ebook too.
What’s your favourite thing about being a blogger and being on social media?
Connecting with other like minded people. I have met so many beautiful people because of Alice In Healthyland. I am forever grateful for this whole experience. I am blown away with all the kindness and support from other followers! Plus I really LOVE seeing people recreate my recipes! It truly makes my day!
I have so many women who inspire me (including you Alice!) but who inspires you and why?
Arghhhh so so so many! Steph you are such a beautiful, honest soul, you plus so many more inspire me! I don’t know if I can name everyone in one page! Lorna Jane is a huge inspiration to me too! She truly is a game changer! Love the whole “move nourish believe” philosophy I totally live my life like that!!
What is your favourite heathy meal?
Oh I have so many. At the moment I love organic brown rice noodles, salmon and broccoli.
What is your ultimate naughty food?
NUTELLA – keep that shit away from me! Only by the spoonful of course!
Lastly what advice can you give to all the mummies out there struggling to clean up their lifestyle and reach their goals?
Write a plan or a list. It might not always work out because our babies one first, but try to schedule in some you time. You tube is fantastic for sourcing at home workouts and mediation too. Don’t beat yourself up too. It’s a journey not a overnight experience. Be kind to yourself!
Check her out!!
